A PADI Divemaster has an extended knowledge of all aspects of diving. This knowledge is gathered through theory lessons but most of all though diving. As soon as you start the course you will learn to function as the right hand of your instructor.

Professional level
Your skills as well as your knowledge will be tuned up to a professional level in all aspects of diving. You will learn about physics and physiology and you will closely attend to all teached dive courses as well as guided dives.

Together with your isntructor you prepare the courses or guided dives to make sure that everything goes smooth. Doing this you will learn to solve problems and guide students or certified divers regarding the PADI Standards.

Working in the dive industry Do you want to know more about guiding dives, helping to teach courses and working as a dive professional? Take the Divemaster Course. Your skills will be perfected and you will develop your knowledge to a professional level. You will learn to oversee dive activities and assist instructors and students during all kind of PADI courses.

What do you need to start?
► A valid EFR or other qualifying CPR & First Aid certification
► A PADI Rescue Diver certification or similar certification from another organisation
► Medical statement signed by a doctor
► 20 logged dives to start the course (60 logged dive before certification)

When can you start?
As soon as you turned 18 years or older.

What are you allowed to do with this certification?
You can work in dive schools or at live-aboards, assist PADI Instructors with courses. Further you are allowed to perform independantly a PADI Discover Snorkeling and PADI Scuba Review.
